NEWS: New Weekly Artist Poll! +Brian Lai
So, as you can see, I set up a new poll for this weekends Weekly Artist fun facts post! Haven't seen much votes yet since yesterday, so please don't forget to vote so I'll be able to see which artist is most appealing to all of you. And also, I enabled multiple choice, so if you can't make your choice you can now vote for two artists at a time! :)
You may be wondering who on earth is Brian Lai and why did I include him onto my post title? Well I thought that this guy I came across may be pretty fascinating.
I introduce to you Brian Lai, who draws in negative.
Brian Lai is a Malaysian-born artist who draws pencil sketches in negative, then uses Negative filters to reveal amazingly realistic 3-D effect drawings. He calls these mind-blowing creations Invert Art. He starts off with a simple sketch, then shades his drawings inversely.
I think this is pretty amazing, and I thought you guys might to, so I added a video here, made by him, that shows one of his Invert Art tutorials.
Pretty cool, eh?
Ciao! :-)
