Sketch: Stickman struggles escaping from a notebook!

Look! I finally posted! I know right, my mom took a while sending it to me, but she took the photo like, 5 days ago 'cause she had to upload it from her cam, etc. Well don't worry I am not even close to giving up on the blog!

This is an example of surreal drawing that I tried to replicate. The stickman (I don't really know what else to call it) is having a struggle trying to escape from the notebook margins. I didn't want to completely copy it so I inputted my own ideas, like the white-out (pretty cool, eh?). And the drill :D. The difficult step was doing the stickman's arm and leg movements and attempting to make it cartoon style. My cartoon-drawing skills, cartoon facial expressions in particular, are mediocre, which you might notice when you see the the great difference in quality between my drawing and the original drawing above. :3 Well, not to brag, but I think my ideas were more creative with the original one, if you compare bending notebook lines with white out :D.

By the way, if you would like to try this out (It's actually a pretty fun, quick activity to do when you're bored) I would advise that you draw the outline (just the outline!) of the stickman first before drawing the lines. Oh, and I forgot to mention, you must draw the lines yourself! No, I'm sorry to blow it for you but you cannot erase the margins of notebook paper, just in case you did not know. After that, you should draw the stickman. 

You can do all sorts of actions with your stickman, you don't have to copy straight from the drawing! Scissors, slides, pipes. Plenty of ideas to choose from!
