Artist: Michelangelo
Whoa, I haven't posted in a couple weeks! Sorry :(
Well here is my long due post regarding our new Weekly Artist, Michelangelo!
Michelangelo
Michelangelo Buonarroti was a very widely-known art during the Renaissance period. He was known for his talent in various types of art, particularly painting sculpting. Michelangelo was born on March 6, 1475 in the city of Caprese, Italy. While a child, he did not go to school and instead trained as an apprentice artist under a professional named Domenico Ghirlandaio. After that, his skills excelled and he began to work under Bertoldo Di Geovanni.
PS. The Renaissance period is a period in history that took place in the 14th - 16th century. It is a period in which a revival of art and literature occurred.
