Piece: Elsa the Snow Queen
Hey guys! I've drawn SO MUCH! And I feel bad I haven't posted one of my own drawings in weeks! I thought I was giving a bit too much of my artwork rather than other art-related stuff, so I decided to give my art posts a break. But I think that break extended a bit too far... so I've decided to post the first thing I drew during that lengthy break!
Elsa the Snow Queen
I think you guys must've seen Frozen before (I actually would've been a bit surprised if you haven't, but surely you must've heard of it). It's about a Snow Queen trying to isolate herself in her palace so she doesn't accidentally release her powers that are capable of great damage. I watched it with my friend, it was a great movie and I would definitely recommend it to anyone that hasn't yet watched it. Well anyway, my creative juices weren't flowing as much that day, so I just decided to draw that Disney character. I thought it would be a short, fun doodle.
Well actually, I got really into it, and even decided to color it.

I based my drawing original wallpaper made by Disney, but I didn't completely copy it. You can see that mine is quite different, besides the silk cape thingy flowing from her dress and her hair. Her pose is even a bit different.
Here is the link to the wallpaper version. I don't want to put it side to side by mine, it makes mine look even worse (you know what I mean :p).

My dad said I could make my drawings' quality better by avoiding creases and accidental folds. So from then on, I started off with my drawings taped at the edges onto the surface that I'm drawing on (which is usually a clipboard). It really helps, actually!
